**Job Summary**

Intralox is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Japan. As a key member of our Technical Support Group, you will provide expert technical support to our Japanese customers and internal teams.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide industry-specific product recommendations to customers.
  • Conduct technical evaluations of conveyor systems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Offer remote troubleshooting and resolution services to ensure seamless customer support.
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations via webcast or other remote technology to educate customers and internal teams.
  • Analyze conveyor designs and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Design and deliver technical training programs for internal employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Research and locate technical data to support customer inquiries and internal projects.
  • Create detailed Bill of Materials for projects to ensure accurate and efficient execution.

**Requirements**

  • Near-native Japanese language skills and fluency in English.
  • College or University degree in a technical field, with Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an industrial sales/support or industrial equipment specification role.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to conceptualize and articulate complex mechanical concepts.
  • Excellent logical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with customers and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications and 2D and 3D CAD software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and issues simultaneously with a high level of organization and prioritization.
  • Service-oriented, team-player mentality with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
