Job Title: EMR Projects and Quality Manager

The role of EMR Projects and Quality Manager is a critical position within our organization, responsible for overseeing and delivering approved Electronic Medical Record (EMR) projects. This includes the preparation of business cases, scoping of business and software requirements, project management, and establishment of project resources.

This senior-level position requires collaboration with the Director EMR, Clinical Informatics team, and stakeholders to set the roadmap for future EMR projects and determine priority works based on strategic organizational requirements. Additionally, this role involves establishing an EMR quality program, including review of EMR-related incidents, risks, and conducting regular EMR workflow reviews.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight and delivery of approved EMR projects
  • Preparation of business cases and scoping of business and software requirements
  • Project management and establishment of project resources
  • Collaboration with Director EMR, Clinical Informatics team, and stakeholders to set EMR project roadmaps and priorities
  • Establishment of EMR quality program, including incident reviews, risk assessment, and workflow analysis
Requirements:
  • Experience and good working knowledge of Oracle Health EMR clinical information system
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale projects
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in tight timeframes
  • Capacity to implement quality improvement programs and monitor EMR use
