Electronic Medical Record Project Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated EMR Projects Manager to oversee and deliver approved electronic medical record projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing business cases, scoping software and business requirements, project management, and establishing project resources.
The role involves setting the roadmap for future EMR projects and determining priorities based on strategic organizational requirements. Additionally, the EMR Projects Manager will establish an EMR quality program, reviewing EMR-related incidents, risks, and conducting regular EMR workflow reviews.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage large-scale EMR projects from initiation to delivery
- Develop and implement EMR quality programs
- Conduct regular EMR workflow reviews and risk assessments
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine project priorities and roadmaps
Requirements:
- Essential Skills:
- Proven experience in managing EMR clinical information systems
- Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders within the organization
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight time frames
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle Health EMR clinical information system
- Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
- Quality improvement certifications (e.g., CQI, Six Sigma)
