Job Opportunity: Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead high-profile SEQ infrastructure projects from planning through to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive project management plans incorporating procurement strategies, risk management, and lifecycle considerations.
  • Prepare project briefs, consultancy scopes, tender documentation, and oversee procurement of consultants and contractors.
  • Manage both Design & Construct and traditional contracts, acting as Principal's Representative or Contract Superintendent.
  • Ensure designs meet brief, compliance, and value-for-money objectives.
  • Oversee commissioning, handover, and defect liability period, ensuring all documentation is complete.
  • Provide high-level stakeholder engagement, project reporting, and maintain accurate project records.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, balancing competing priorities and ensuring project profitability.
Requirements:
  • Proven client-side experience managing building construction/upgrade projects in comparable organisations.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in building construction or related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement, contract law, and building industry practices.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time, on budget, and to quality standards.
