Delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences is at the heart of our operations. We are seeking a talented Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team at Gosford Hospital on the Central Coast of Australia.

This part-time opportunity will provide you with the chance to take ownership of a high-volume cafe, inspire and connect with your colleagues, while building lasting relationships with our customers.

You will bring to the role outstanding customer service skills and coffee or Barista expertise, which are significant advantages. Flexibility in shift availability is required across seven days.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gain experience in food handling
  • Develop skills in coffee making
  • Follow occupational health and safety procedures
  • Take orders from customers in a friendly and engaging manner
  • Handle cash transactions and operate a register/POS system
  • Perform general cafe duties as required, including service and cleaning

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous retail experience in a similar environment - cafe/restaurant/coffee house advantageous
  • Excellent presentation, customer service skills, and fluency in English
  • Reliability, enthusiasm, and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Current Covid vaccinations and a current police check are mandatory requirements for this role
