Food and Beverage Attendant Opportunity

Are you an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual looking for a role in the food and beverage industry? We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team on a part-time basis during the summer season.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient, friendly, and professional service to all guests ensuring their experience is positive and memorable.
  • Welcome and serve guests warmly, taking pride in providing exceptional service standards.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the hotel and its amenities to provide expert advice and recommendations to guests.
  • Build strong relationships with guests, exceeding their expectations and delivering personalized service experiences.
  • Assist guests with menu inquiries, dietary requirements, and recommendations, ensuring accuracy and quality of service delivery.
  • Ensure requests, orders, and service delivery are fulfilled promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, orders, and service delivery using POS system technology.
  • Restock supplies, including ice, glassware, and paper goods, ensuring seamless service operations.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in service areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Promote a culture of safety and well-being within the team, supporting workplace health and safety practices.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a hospitality environment.
  • Hold a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol Competency Card (RSA).
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, flexibility, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Barista skills and beverage knowledge are highly desirable.
  • Be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
