About the Role

The Corporate Governance Liaison will provide high-level support to the Company Secretary and Deputy Company Secretary with company secretarial services to the Boards and Committees of Virgin Australia Group. This role involves regular review and maintenance of existing governance processes, recommending and implementing changes, documenting new procedures, and ensuring compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of meetings and events owned by the Company Secretariat or involving Board and Committees
  • Coordinate Board and Committee papers for submission
  • Act as a point of contact between ELT/GLT and Board members

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience in a busy company secretarial or paralegal role with proficient knowledge of Australian corporate governance practices
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to proactively identify and manage issues (potential or arising) and resolve queries from stakeholders
  • Exceptional organisational skills, thoroughness, consistency, and reliability
  • Ambassador for good governance procedures
  • Able to work agilely and outcome-focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Naturally collaborative and team-centric mindset
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality with all materials
