Strategic Partnership Development Specialist

Our team is responsible for identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to form strategic partnerships that drive growth and success. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the key factors that influence successful partnerships and be able to develop effective strategies to achieve our goals.
We are seeking an experienced professional who can manage a portfolio of potential partners, assess their suitability for partnership, and negotiate agreements that benefit both parties. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to think critically and creatively.
The YouTube Product Partnerships team drives the development of strategic partnerships and manages key relationships that help to make YouTube's products more universally accessible and useful. We own the business side of new products and initiatives, and our strategic partnerships seek to build, distribute, grow, and protect YouTube's products globally.
Responsibilities include managing a portfolio of potential Australian and New Zealand YouTube creators, media companies, and sports entities, as well as driving agreements with partners and building consensus with internal and external executives. Key skills include excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to identify business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with partners.
A successful partner manager will have a strong network of contacts within the industry, be able to build trust and credibility with partners, and be able to navigate complex negotiations to reach mutually beneficial outcomes. They will also have a strong understanding of the key metrics that measure the success of partnerships and be able to track and report on these metrics effectively.
