Lending Operations Team Lead

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee the Lending Settlement Operations Team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and leading a team of professionals to deliver operational excellence and consistently high levels of service.

Key responsibilities include ensuring workflows run efficiently, team members are supported and clear on expectations, and that settlements are completed accurately and on time. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years' experience in leadership roles within the financial services industry with strong capability in workforce planning, resource management, coaching, and performance uplift to drive team and organisational outcomes.

Strong working knowledge of home settlement platforms, including PEXA, with exposure to Dye & Durham and LendFast an advantage.

Experience in leading through change, influencing across business units, and representing your business unit in strategic and risk discussions is essential.

Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience is also required.
