Key Team Player Sought for Operations Leadership Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Team Leader to spearhead our Lending Settlements Operations Team. As a key member of the operations team, this individual will be responsible for coaching, mentoring and guiding a team of 12-15 Operations Officers to achieve operational excellence and deliver high levels of service.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 3 years' leadership experience in Financial Services or a related industry, with expertise in workforce planning, resource management, coaching and performance improvement.
- At least 5 years' experience in operations, with a thorough understanding of home lending and settlements, including cross-state requirements.
- Familiarity with home settlement platforms such as PEXA; experience with Dye & Durham and LendFast is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to lead change, influence across units and represent the team in strategic discussions.
- A diploma in leadership or a related financial services field.
This role will make a significant impact by:
- Monitoring and evaluating team performance, overseeing and directing daily operations in line with targets and policies.
- Reviewing team member performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing coaching, training and development.
- Ensuring high customer experience and satisfaction, managing complex complaints and ensuring swift resolutions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless experience for customers and stakeholders.
