Team Leader Lending Fulfilment

As Team Leader of the Lending Settlement Operations Team, you'll coach, mentor, and lead a team of 12-15 Operations Officers to deliver operational excellence and high levels of service.
You'll ensure workflows run efficiently, support team members, clarify expectations, and ensure settlements are completed accurately and on time.

All applicants please note, the location for this role is the Brisbane Head Office.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Monitoring and evaluating team performance, overseeing, guiding, and directing the daily operations in line with targets and policies.
  • Reviewing team member performance, identifying areas for improvement, and providing coaching, training, and development.
  • Ensuring high customer experience and satisfaction, managing complex complaints, and ensuring swift resolutions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless experience for customers and stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • At least 3 years of leadership experience in Financial Services or a related industry, with skills in workforce planning, resource management, coaching, and performance improvement.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Operations, with a good understanding of home lending and settlements, including cross-state requirements.
  • Knowledge of home settlement platforms such as PEXA; experience with Dye & Durham and LendFast is advantageous.
  • Experience leading change, influencing across units, and representing your team in strategic discussions.
  • Diploma in leadership or a related financial services field.
