The Role of an Event Production Coordinator is crucial in the success of any event or activation. As part of a dynamic team, you will be responsible for delivering key production and logistical support across multiple precincts.

">Job Overview:

This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and other teams. You will be involved in coordinating all requirements to ensure successful production and delivery of events/activations and installations in public spaces.

Main Responsibilities:
  • You will be the primary point of contact between different teams and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement production plans, manage procurement processes, and oversee the management of production and event purchase orders and vendor payments.
  • Work closely with relevant departments and stakeholders to eliminate any potential clashes or conflicts in the precincts, ensuring smooth operations and minimal disruptions.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in event/venue management, event operations/production, or live settings/public spaces is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and collaborate with diverse groups.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
