This position offers a dynamic opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team environment, supporting families as they navigate the challenges of parenthood.
- Nursing Care: The successful applicant will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating healthcare in collaboration with individuals, groups, families and communities.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Effective interaction with clients' families and other professionals is essential to facilitate the provision of optimal child-centred healthcare.
- Quality Improvement: Active involvement in maintaining and continually improving the quality of patient/client care is paramount.
- Lifelong Learning: Identifying and meeting client goals in partnership with clients and their families/significant others is a key aspect of this role.
- Up-to-date knowledge of nursing principles, procedures and practices in the delivery of client care in child and family health nursing, aligned with relevant legal requirements and professional standards.
- Solid understanding of primary health care principles and ability to apply these in child and family health nursing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written skills, are essential for success in this role.
