
Child Mental Health Specialist

Clinical Nurse Specialists play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality mental health services to children and young people. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients and contribute to the growth and development of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop tailored care plans, and provide individual and group secondary level mental health interventions to children and families.
- Establish and support collaborative partnerships with service providers across primary health, child health, and parenting, paediatrics, child safety, education, and child and young person-based programs and services.
- Collect and review client and service outcome data, contributing to initiatives that improve client outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing quality and safety, service development, and improvement, and professional development processes and standards.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist will work closely with the team to achieve outstanding results.
Eligibility Criteria
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
- Current Working with Children Registration.
