Job Opportunity: Child and Family Health Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Child and Family Health Nurse to join our team, responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to families as they transition into parenthood.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Nursing Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate healthcare in collaboration with individuals, groups, families, and communities.
    • Teamwork: Interact effectively with clients' families and other professionals to facilitate the provision of optimum child-centred healthcare.
    • Excellence in Practice: Maintain and continually improve the quality of patient/client care through active involvement in research and evidence-based practice.
    • Learning Culture: Identify and meet client goals in partnership with clients and their families/significant others.
    • Participate in Quality & Safety and Work Health & Safety processes, including safety systems, improvement initiatives, and training.

As a successful applicant, you will possess:

  • A current knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and practices in child and family health nursing.
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills, including written skills and ability to function effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Essential Criteria:
    • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
    • Current Working with Children Registration.
    • Current Driver's Licence.
