Clinical Nurse Specialist - Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding position for an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality mental health services to children and young people in the Northwest region of Tasmania.
As a key member of the Community CYMHS Northwest team, you will work closely with other professionals to provide individual and group secondary level mental health interventions, care planning, and assessments.
Your Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality mental health services to children and young people in accordance with the Mental Health Services Strategic Plan, Mental Health Services Principles, National Mental Health Standards, relevant professional competencies, and legal requirements.
- Develop and support collaborative care partnerships with service providers, including primary health, child health, parenting, paediatrics, child safety, education, and child and young person-based programs and services.
- Collect and review client and service outcome data, and participate in activities to improve client outcomes.
- Contribute to continuing quality and safety, service development and improvement, and professional development processes and standards.
