About the Role

We are currently recruiting one full-time and one part-time Guest Service Officer to join our team at Park Hyatt Sydney.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate efficient communications for both guests and employees within the hotel and for external communications.
  • Operate switchboard consoles, paging system, and associated computer equipment in accordance with departmental procedures.
  • Handle personal wake-up calls as requested with accuracy.
  • Act proficiently in all aspects of emergency procedures.
  • Remain calm, alert, and efficient in the event of a major incident or problem at the hotel.
  • Be fully conversant in all hotel products and services to handle guest inquiries efficiently and courteously.
  • Log all requests and ensure that the required follow-up actions occur within 15 minutes.
Requirements
  • Good telephone and communication skills.
  • Good computer skills, particularly in the use of MS Office.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Able to work well under pressure.
  • Fluent in English.
