About the Role:

We are looking for a Data Infrastructure Lead to join our team at Firesoft People. In this role, you will be responsible for leading, coaching, and mentoring data engineers to build and manage significant data infrastructure in the cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coach data engineers to design, implement, and maintain large-scale data systems
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive data product strategy and develop innovative solutions
  • Partner with technical partners, internal and external stakeholders, and third parties to enable the use of data to create innovative solutions for business
  • Support production systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues
  • Research and provide insights on emerging technologies and new toolsets to stay ahead of industry trends

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated strong hands-on technical skills, preferably in cloud-based data infrastructure
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience in coaching and mentoring teams
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product management, business stakeholders, and technical partners
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
  • Experience working with emerging technologies and new toolsets, with a willingness to experiment and innovate
