About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Data Infrastructure Architect to lead the establishment of an enterprise data function within our innovative tech scale-up.

  • Design and implement high-performance, scalable data infrastructure solutions, encompassing ETL, data warehousing, and master data management systems.
  • Establish frameworks, protocols, and governance models to support the creation of scalable, reusable, and automated data resources.
  • Develop automated reporting systems for commercial insights and operational performance.
  • Oversee the organization's data infrastructure and implement a global data governance model, ensuring adherence to SLAs and comprehensive documentation standards.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to enhance BI and reporting efforts, driving continuous improvement across the business.
  • Lead and manage a data team of 2.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Demonstrated success in creating data analytics solutions and recommending insights and reporting strategies to support business decision-making.
  • Extensive experience in managing databases, reporting, and presenting analytics insights to diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong background in modern data infrastructure, including ETL processes, data lakes, and data warehouses.
  • Experience with data orchestration tools such as DBT, Airflow, and Step Functions will be highly regarded.
  • Proven ability to implement and manage master data management, governance, and data security systems and processes.
  • Proficient with BI tools.
  • Solid understanding of data analysis workflows and experience leading analytics functions within an organisation.

$140,000 - $160,000 per annum

This is a full-time position based in London, UK. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and generous holiday entitlement.
