The company, a leading provider of logistics services across Australia, specialising in bulk liquids, general freight & dangerous goods, seeks an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention of drivers and depot staff.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a small team, coaching, mentoring, and building capability for today and tomorrow.
- Advise management on employee relations and performance management, ensuring compliance with Fair Work, WHS, transport industry obligations and HR best practices.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, identifying training and development needs and coordinating learning initiatives.
- Maintain HR records and prepare reports for senior leadership, leading Enterprise Agreement negotiations and ensuring Fair Work compliance.
- Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, with previous experience in the Transport & Logistics Industry advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment law, modern awards, and compliance.
- Demonstrated experience with balancing strategic influence and hands-on delivery.
- High level of discretion, integrity, and resilience, with excellent communication skills and ability to build productive relationships at all levels.
