Support Worker

At Easy iCare Pty Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Family Services. As a Support Worker, you will be working closely with individuals with diverse abilities, providing personal care, assistance with daily living activities, and promoting their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, in accordance with individual needs and preferences.
- Provide support with mobility, including the use of wheelchairs, walking sticks, and walking frames, and assist with transportation to appointments and community activities.
- Prepare and cook meals, ensuring dietary preferences and restrictions are met, and maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation, and provide emotional support and companionship.
- Collaborate with Support Coordinators to ensure individualized care plans are in place and provide regular updates on participant progress.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with participants, their families, and support networks.
- Comply with NDIS regulations and maintain accurate records of participant interactions and care provided.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in disability support.
- Certificate III in Individual Support or higher qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in disability services, preferably in family services.
- NDIS Workers Screening Check.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Advanced computer and literacy skills.
- Current unrestricted driver's license and First Aid Certificate.
A competitive remuneration package, including a salary range of AUD$74,000-76,000 per annum, plus superannuation, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
