As an Immunisation Registered Nurse with the WAVE Program, you will play a vital role in improving access to immunisation services and lifting vaccination rates for Aboriginal families and communities across the Central Coast.
About the OpportunityThis is an excellent opportunity to contribute to stronger, healthier futures for Aboriginal children and families. You will join a dedicated Public Health team focused on providing education and vaccinations that protect the community and reduce the impact of vaccine-preventable diseases.
You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver targeted immunisation services, prioritising the needs of Aboriginal families and community members.
About You- Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Midwife with AHPRA.
- NSW Accreditation as an Authorised Nurse/Midwife Immuniser, or working towards accreditation.
- Strong understanding of best practice immunisation principles and guidelines, with experience of working within Aboriginal health settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with Aboriginal families, community members, and healthcare professionals.
- Commitment to working within professional and ethical boundaries in a team-based environment.
