About the Role

We are seeking Disability Support Workers to deliver exceptional care and support to individuals with disabilities in their own homes.

This rewarding role involves assisting with daily living tasks, providing social support, and promoting independence. As a Disability Support Worker with YNA, you will work as part of a dedicated team to provide high-quality care and make a positive impact on the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Preparing meals and snacks
  • Medication supervision
  • Light housekeeping duties
  • Transporting clients to appointments and activities
  • Providing social support and companionship
Requirements
  • Cert III or Cert IV in Individual Support or enrolment in a nursing or allied health degree program
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ideally 6 months paid experience in a related role or demonstration of related roles, experience or commitment to supporting people living with disability
  • Current Police Clearance and NDIS Worker Screening check
  • A commitment to ongoing support to our participants

The salary for this position is approximately $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
