About The Role
- You will support NDIS participants in Central Adelaide as a key member of our team.
- Work at participant's home or a community location (you will be required to drive to/from sessions).
- Support participants across all ages and stages of life.
- You'll work under the guidance of the primary therapist (Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist, Physiotherapist, Key Worker or Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner), enabling participants to develop greater independence and reach their full potential.
What does a typical session look like?
- You'll implement the therapy plan provided by the primary therapist. Sessions vary depending on the participant and their individual goals.
- Examples of goals you may work on include supporting independence, promoting healthy habits and encouraging social engagement.
Key Requirements
- You must be studying a university degree in Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or Physiotherapy (minimum 2nd year).
- OR have completed a Certificate 3 or 4 in Allied Health Assistance or an equivalent qualification with experience in a similar position.
Australian Salary: AU$80,000 - AU$100,000 per annum
