Job Overview

The Property Director will oversee retail properties and leasing processes for our portfolio. This role involves securing and managing leases, maintaining property value, and ensuring smooth operations across the retail property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate lease terms, renewals, and agreements with tenants or landlords to ensure favorable terms.
  • Act as the point of contact between us and landlords or tenants, addressing any issues, concerns, or needs that arise during the lease period.
  • Assist in identifying and evaluating potential retail spaces for new store openings, relocations, or expansions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with landlords, property owners, brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and future leasing opportunities.
  • Oversee the upkeep of retail properties, including maintenance, repairs, and compliance with safety and building regulations.
  • Manage property-related budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Coordinate and manage contracts, disclosure documents, and agreements.

Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidate brings 5-6 years' experience within a similar environment (Retail or QSR).
  • Willingness to travel nationally as needed.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
