Job Title: Operations Director

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced operations director to oversee the day-to-day activities of our retail asset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a site operational team, providing guidance and support to ensure tasks are prioritized and completed efficiently with a focus on customer service
  • Drive a safety culture across the asset, ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures and incident reporting
  • Collaborate with Tenancy Delivery contractors to ensure adherence to policies & procedures and centre design requirements
  • Maintain environmental and OH&S compliance including contractor induction and review of Safe Work Method Statements
  • Manage operational expenditure and capital forecasting, including budget setting and reforecasting as required
  • Participate in national and site-based sustainability forums and tenant engagement strategies
  • Nominate and implement projects to improve property performance and assume accountability for delivered projects
  • Ensure maintenance of the property structure, façade, fittings, finishes, fit out and services
  • Accountability for emergency, crisis and risk management training programs
  • Oversee overall property presentation standards including cleaning, security, customer service and maintenance

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in a similar role within a large, retail-focused asset, managing multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with retail operations and customer service principles
