About the Aboriginal Boarding Supervisor Position:

Our organisation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Aboriginal Boarding Supervisor to support students, particularly Aboriginal students, in a positive, happy and culturally safe boarding environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Aboriginal Boarding Supervisor Role:

  • Plan and implement suitable activities for all students to enjoy.\
  • Ensure students receive appropriate care to maintain health and wellbeing.\
  • Undertake regular, positive communication and liaison with colleagues, parents/guardians, school staff, other professionals and members of the local community.\
  • Support the development and wellbeing of students, particularly Aboriginal students.\

Requirements of the Aboriginal Boarding Supervisor:

  • \
  • Be of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background.\
  • Have strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills.\
  • Be able to plan, document and safely lead leisure activities for secondary students.\
  • Have organisational skills and be able to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team.\
  • Have the capacity to successfully meet and maintain the required eligibility and training requirements of this position.\
