Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Liability Claims Professional to join our team.

About the Role

This is a permanent opportunity based in Melbourne, with a competitive salary package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage claims from end to end, ensuring the best possible outcome in all areas; quality assurance, customer satisfaction, and financial management.
  • Determine liability on claims and provide recommendations for future claims strategies.
  • Conduct legal reviews on litigated claims with service providers.
  • Attend external meetings and court cases as required.
Requirements
  • At least 2-3 years of experience managing public liability claims.
  • Legal qualifications (essential).
  • Experience in managing litigated claims is highly desirable.
  • A solid understanding of the Insurance Code of Practice and Insurance Contracts Act.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Negotiation skills are essential.
  • End-to-end claims management experience is required.
