As a Regional Reporter, you will be responsible for identifying and developing stories that are relevant and engaging for the local community, producing high-quality copy, and driving subscription growth for the digital masthead.
You will also lead and inspire digital content through story development, use data analytics to find new trends and track what content is performing online, and build genuine connections with local businesses, sports teams, political leaders, families, and citizens.
To succeed in this role, you should have previous writing and newsroom experience, a network from the local community, or be prepared to live in an idyllic NSW regional community. You should also have fantastic interviewing skills, a natural curiosity, and excellent spelling and grammar.
In return, we offer a competitive salary of AU$80,000 - AU$120,000 per year, depending on your experience, plus a range of benefits including access to exclusive publications, health and wellbeing support, time off, career development opportunities, financial wellbeing support, and perks and discounts.
