The NSW Government is seeking a highly organized and proactive Aboriginal Health Coordinator to provide operational leadership and management to a dedicated team of Aboriginal Health practitioners, workers, and Registered nurses ensuring high-quality, culturally safe patient care across the district.

Role Overview

In this role, you will coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Northern Aboriginal Health Team, supporting rural services within the Peel, Tablelands, and MEHI regions. You will work in partnership with the Clinical Lead to support team-based healthcare services for patients, within the Aboriginal Care Coordination Service.

This is a Category A position that requires compliance with NSW Health policy directive PD2024_015: Occupational Assessment, Screening, and Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases prior to offer.

Responsibilities
  • Provide operational leadership and management to a dedicated team of Aboriginal Health practitioners, workers, and Registered nurses
  • Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Northern Aboriginal Health Team, supporting rural services within the specified regions
  • Work in partnership with the Clinical Lead to support team-based healthcare services for patients, within the Aboriginal Care Coordination Service
