APS3 Business Operations Specialist

The APS3 Business Operations Specialist contributes to the development, planning, and production of business outputs and outcomes. The specialist is primarily engaged with a range of administrative, exhibits management, stocktakes, data interrogation, basic research, and less complex analysis work involving the appropriate collection of information of a diverse nature across the business and operational aspects of the ACIC.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing administrative support to operational teams, taskforces, investigators, and intelligence practitioners.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of business outputs and outcomes.
- Managing information and providing advice to stakeholders, including maintaining effective record keeping.
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve business objectives and outcomes.
- Developing and maintaining knowledge of business and operational systems and processes.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Sound organisational skills to prioritise tasks and produce timely outcomes.
- Experience in business and/or customer service, including the ability to problem solve.
- Good oral and written communication skills, and interpersonal and team skills.
- Demonstrated competency in a range of information and communication technology (ICT) systems.
- Ability and willingness to work flexibly across a number of functional portfolios.
Citizenship: To be eligible for employment with the ACIC, applicants must be an Australian citizen.
Security Clearance: The Australian community expects ACIC employees to maintain the highest levels of security and integrity. Successful applicants will be required to obtain and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 security clearance.
Pre-Employment Screening: All candidates must satisfy an Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) prior to being offered employment at the ACIC.
