Our youth residential program provides care and intensive support to children and young people who have a variety of needs. Team Leaders play a vital role in leading a team that supports children and young people to live their best life.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of child safety professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people in our care.
- Provide guidance and support to a team of youth workers.
- Maintain compliance with relevant Child Safety legislation and regulation, as well as organisational policy and procedures.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, families, and young people.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Senior Youth Workers and Youth Workers in meeting a child or young person's individual needs.
- Minimum or equivalent of a Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention for Residential Care (or a willingness to obtain prior to uWorkin certification).
- Have a positive attitude.
- Possess clear and effective communication skills.
- Demonstrate computer literacy and accuracy in record management.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Exhibit an ability to problem solve.
- Be able to follow policies and procedures at all times.
- Be able to work with culturally and linguistically diverse communities and individuals.
- Flexible to work across a 24/7 roster.
- A permanent hourly rate of $.
