Disaster Recovery Grants Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Disaster Recovery Grants Coordinator to support our efforts in rebuilding and recovering from disaster events.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop effective strategies to improve customer service for grant applicants, ensuring a seamless experience throughout the process.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to develop case management approaches for complex grant applications, including pathways for psycho-social support and securing funding commitments from third parties.
- Foster clear communication between grant applicants, local councils, builders, trades, suppliers, government agencies, and community organisations.
- Represent our team at interagency meetings and forums, promoting our mission and objectives.
- Strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service coordination and applicant support.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role, with an in-depth understanding of disaster management principles and recovery frameworks.
- Proven track record in project and/or case management within a statutory framework.
Maintain accurate documentation to support re-build processes in accordance with disaster recovery funding arrangements (DRFA) guidelines and local government policies. Perform other relevant duties as required.
