Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Specialist
Job Summary:
The Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Specialist will contribute to successful changes to the Technology Environments by contributing to key components of the ITL service management framework, including change, release, and service performance.
This role is responsible for managing change delivery, coordinating monthly enterprise releases, conducting disaster recovery tests as per APRA guidelines, and generating monthly service reports for business pillars. This role also involves participating in scheduling and executing DR/Technology BCP tests, collaborating with relevant technology teams or vendors, preparing detailed test reports, and documenting processes, procedures, and tools for DR event management.
The ideal candidate will have experience in disaster recovery and/or business continuity, leading teams that handle high-volume processing activities with a focus on high quality, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with technology systems such as JIRA, Confluence, Service Now, and SharePoint are advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage change delivery and coordinate monthly enterprise releases.
- Conduct disaster recovery tests as per APRA guidelines.

- Participate in scheduling and executing DR/Technology BCP tests.
- Prepare detailed test reports and document processes, procedures, and tools for DR event management.
- Work with cross-functional technology teams to develop and maintain all ICT DR Continuity policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Experience in disaster recovery and/or business continuity.
- Leading teams that handle high-volume processing activities with a focus on high quality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with technology systems such as JIRA, Confluence, Service Now, and SharePoint.
