About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our occupational rehabilitation team in Wollongong, NSW.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver case management services with manageable caseloads and support from Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks
  • Apply clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes for clients
  • Develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs with employers and employees
  • Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to achieve optimal results
  • Work across various schemes including workers' compensation, CTP, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded programs
  • Help clients achieve successful return to health and return to work outcomes through assessments and interventions
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Health Sciences, or Rehabilitation Counselling
  • General or Provisional registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with ASORC
  • Previous experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills, compassion, kindness, and empathy
  • Strong time management skills and a current NSW Driver's Licence with access to own car and comprehensive insurance
