Workplace Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Workplace Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and guidance to individuals with illness, disability or injury.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage complex caseloads and develop tailored rehabilitation plans;
  • Apply clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes and enhance overall well-being;
  • Design and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs to promote a safe working environment;
  • Collaborate closely with injured workers, employers, medical professionals, and allied health specialists to ensure seamless coordination of care;
  • Assist individuals with an injury or health condition in achieving optimal return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes through comprehensive assessments and treatment planning;
  • Utilize clinical skills to review diagnoses, support treatment plans, and address psychosocial barriers to employment.

Requirements:

  • Strong clinical knowledge and experience in rehabilitation and case management;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team;
  • Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing priorities and circumstances;
  • Proficiency in assessing client needs and developing effective intervention strategies;
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to workplace rehabilitation.
