We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Banking Specialist to join our team at BOQ. As a key member of our Corporate Banking team, you will play a critical role in providing support to our Corporate Relationship Executive in preparing credit submissions for new and existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit credit submissions for new and existing customers, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Liaise with Loans Centre and external service providers to ensure all documentation and settlements are processed promptly and accurately.
- Support the Relationship Executive in identifying, progressing, and executing on new opportunities for the Bank.
- Achieve targeted levels of customer service standards, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Assist in building strong relationships with customers through the provision of banking solutions.
- Ensure that BOQ's credit policies, procedures, and audit requirements are adhered to.
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Banking Specialist with a minimum of 3+ years' experience in Commercial/Corporate banking, preferably with exposure to transactions over $10m.
Requirements:
- Ability to critically analyze and interpret financial statements and identify industry trends.
- Demonstrated ability in providing superior customer service.
- Able to establish strong internal and external relationships, solve problems, and make decisions.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Windows program knowledge.
- Strong time management skills.
- Advanced numeracy and financial modeling skills.
