Corporate Banking Specialist

As a Corporate Banking Specialist at Bank of Queensland, you will play a critical role in supporting the Corporate Relationship Executive in preparing credit submissions for new and existing customers. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the timely and accurate completion of periodic credit reviews.
You will also be responsible for liaising with Loans Centre/HP staff and external professional services providers to ensure all documentation and settlements are processed promptly and accurately.
The ideal candidate will possess a high standard of customer service skills, with the ability to generate new business and ensure customer retention. You will also be responsible for undertaking administrative, reporting, and regulatory tasks as required at the direction of the Relationship Executive.
Key Accountabilities:- Preparing and submitting complex lending submissions exceeding $10m.
- Reviewing and preparing accurate documentation as requested.
- Supporting the Relationship Executive in identifying, progressing, and executing new opportunities for the Bank.
- Achieving targeted levels of customer service standards.
- Building strong relationships with customers through the provision of banking solutions.
- Ensuring adherence to BOQ's credit policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
- Liaising with Loan Centre and external service providers to ensure accurate documentation and timely settlements.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Credit Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in Commercial/Corporate banking, preferably with exposure to transactions exceeding $10m.
- Ability to critically analyze and interpret financial statements and identify industry trends.
- Demonstrated ability in providing superior customer service.
- Able to establish strong internal and external relationships, solve problems, and make decisions.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Windows program knowledge.
- Strong time management skills.
- Advanced numeracy and financial modeling skills.
