**Estimator Role Summary**

This role is focused on creating accurate cost estimates for complex construction projects. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

The ideal candidate will possess a qualification in mechanical engineering, construction management, or a trade-based background, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in estimating (preferably in metal fabrication or industrial construction).

Key responsibilities include reviewing project documentation, preparing detailed cost estimates, conducting quantity take-offs, and ensuring cost estimates meet target gross profit margins.

  • Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Qualification in mechanical engineering, construction management, or trade-based background
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in estimating (preferably in metal fabrication or industrial construction)
  • Familiarity with fabrication drawings, materials, and trade practices
  • Review tender documents
  • Manage quantity take-off process and prepare Bill of Quantities as required
  • Oversee project specific teams and lead complex tender bids
