Job Title: Refrigeration Projects Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to support our industrial refrigeration projects with opportunities for professional growth and hands-on engineering experience.

• Perform engineering calculations and designs for refrigeration solutions, including estimating costs and developing project proposals.
• Prepare estimates and tender submissions for minor and major project work, ensuring timely completion and compliance with client requirements.
• Evaluate and modify existing refrigeration plants to meet client needs, utilizing your knowledge of Australian and International standards.
• Assist with all services, including consulting, contract work, maintenance, and parts supply, focusing on delivering exceptional customer support.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage projects, including supplier negotiations, design coordination, procurement, resource allocation, and project administration, ensuring effective collaboration with internal teams.
• Control project costs, ensure successful project completion, and conduct regular forecasting to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Prepare risk assessments and ensure compliance with health and safety systems for all equipment and project work, maintaining a safe working environment.
• Project scheduling using MS Project, developing and implementing project plans to achieve set goals.
• Develop knowledge of applicable Australian and International standards and ensure compliance, staying up-to-date with industry developments.
• Drafting for small projects and manufacturing using AutoCAD and hand sketches, creating detailed documentation.
• Liaise with mechanical designers, boilermakers, and other tradespersons to facilitate safe and efficient equipment designs, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Complete safety and engineering audits of refrigeration systems on site, compiling comprehensive reports for clients.
• Contribute to the continuous development of internal systems to streamline engineering and project management functions, improving efficiency and effectiveness.
• Complete administrative duties related to engineering and project management, providing excellent support to the team.
• Supervise and assist with commissioning new plants as appropriate, ensuring smooth transition and minimal downtime.
• Assist with delivering training for internal and external technical personnel, enhancing skills and knowledge within the organization.
• Support the service department with engineering and small contracting support, providing value-added services to clients.
• Take reasonable care for health and safety and cooperate with management to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, prioritizing a safe working environment.
• Perform duties as assigned by the supervisor, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
• Support front-line delivery of services to customers in line with contractual obligations or as directed by the Projects Leader, Engineering Lead, or Branch Manager, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Provide outstanding levels of customer satisfaction, exceeding expectations and building strong relationships with clients.
• Develop expertise in all systems under control, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
• Maintain a proactive approach to rectifying incidents before they arise, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
• Maintain a neat and clean appearance while representing the company, reflecting positively on the organization's values and reputation.
