Key Responsibilities:- Performing engineering calculations and designs for refrigeration solutions.
- Preparing estimates and tender submissions for minor and major project work.
- Evaluating and modifying existing refrigeration plants to meet client requirements.
- Assisting with all services, including consulting, contract work, maintenance, and parts supply.
- Managing projects, including supplier negotiations, design coordination, procurement, resource coordination, and administration.
- Controlling project costs and conducting regular forecasting.
- Preparing risk assessments and ensuring compliance with health and safety systems for all equipment and project work.
- Project scheduling using MS Project.
- Developing knowledge of applicable standards and ensuring compliance.
- Drafting for small projects and manufacturing using AutoCAD and hand sketches.
- Liaising with designers, boilermakers, and other tradespersons to facilitate safe and efficient equipment designs.
- Completing audits of refrigeration systems on site and compiling reports.
- Tertiary qualification (minimum B.Eng.) in Mechanical, Process, or Chemical Engineering.
- Ability to create, read, and interpret drawings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive approach and ability to work autonomously.
- Attention to detail.
- Keenness to learn and develop through contact with various professionals.
- Possession of a current valid driver's license.
- Current right to work in Australia.
