About the Role:
This is a Fixed term - Part time opportunity for a Consultant Paediatrician to join The Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional medical care to our patients and contributing to the development of our clinical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality medical care to children with a range of conditions, from routine check-ups to complex surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans that meet the individual needs of each child.
- Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and advance our knowledge of child health.
What You'll Need:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent qualification as a Medical Practitioner registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Current registration with AHPRA as a specialist paediatrician or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
