Midwifery Care Specialist Opportunity

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to provide advanced midwifery assessment, diagnosis, care and intervention to pregnant people and families within the scope of practice of an Endorsed Midwife.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality clinical experience, knowledge and leadership in midwifery care across the continuum
  • Demonstrate strong clinical problem solving skills including conceptual and analytical ability
  • Utilise excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills including negotiation skills
  • Maintain sound knowledge of relevant legislative and health regulating Acts including legislative obligations
  • Apply current knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements in the areas of Equal Opportunity, Disability Services and Work Health and Safety, and how these impact on employment, people management and service delivery
Requirements:
