Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Bringing People Together: Assist with events that foster a sense of community and connection among residents.
  • Creating Memorable Experiences: Develop a dynamic monthly calendar of engaging activities that promote social interaction, wellbeing, and joy.
  • Championing Wellbeing: Lead lifestyle and wellbeing initiatives that enhance residents' quality of life, fostering a sense of belonging and fulfillment.
  • Providing Compassionate Support: Offer care and guidance, connecting residents with essential services and resources.
  • Building Community Partnerships: Collaborate with senior citizen centres and community groups to strengthen support and engagement.
  • Maintaining Resident Care: Ensure resident files are up-to-date with requests or relevant information to meet their needs.
  • Ensuring Safety: Conduct regular checks on medical alert systems for residents' safety and peace of mind.

About You:

  • A positive, empathetic, and compassionate nature, with the ability to connect with residents and create meaningful experiences.
  • A passion for service and community
  • Strong administrative, organisational, and communication skills
  • A team player with a knack for building relationships
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite; SharePoint & D365 desirable but not essential.
  • Certification in Leisure and Health (Cert 4) is desirable, along with First Aid Certificate.
