Pet Aftercare Professional
\We are seeking a compassionate animal lover to work with us in the pet aftercare industry. The role involves working with two teams: cremation and keepsake preparation.
\Cremation Team Responsibilities:
\- Operating cremation and ashes processing equipment
\- Maintenance and basic repairs of site equipment
\- Assisting drivers to load and unload pets from their vehicles
\- Yard and maintenance duties as required
\Keepsake Preparation Team Responsibilities:
\- Placing pet ashes into keepsake offerings such as urns, jewelry, or wooden boxes
\- Engraving
\- Stock management and replenishment
\As part of our team, you will take pride in conducting a very ethical, clean, neat, and hygienic operation. You will also receive full training on safe lifting procedures and heavy equipment use.
\Requirements for Success:
\- A compassionate and caring nature, with a love for animals
\- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a tight team
\- Physical fitness to lift heavy pets safely
\- Comfort with handling deceased pets
\- Experience in safe lifting procedures
\- Comfort with working in various temperatures
\- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork
\- Reliability, trustworthiness, and commitment to high-quality work
\- Organized and tidy work habits, maintaining a clean and safe environment
