Financial Operations Specialist

This is a key role within our firm, responsible for overseeing financial operations and ensuring accurate timely financial reporting.
The Role
Our ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and cash flow management. This will involve preparing and reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts, as well as overseeing trust account management and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Manage financial records, including accounts payable, receivable, and cash flow.
- Prepare and reconcile financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance.
Skill and Experience
- Proven experience in financial accounting and bookkeeping preferably within a professional services environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software e.g. Xero QuickBooks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
