Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Financial Operations Specialist to join our Corporate Consumer Finance team.
Job Summary:The Financial Operations Specialist will be responsible for ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely processing of cash, banking, and reconciling functions. This includes performing daily banking and batching of all account types, including multicurrency and conversion, preparing and presenting reports to the company accountants, reconciling bank accounts and maintaining accurate records, and processing adjustments and account maintenance as needed.
Key Responsibilities:- Cash Management: Provide support to the Consumer Finance team in ensuring accurate and efficient processing of cash, banking, and reconciling functions.
- Daily Banking: Perform daily banking and batching of all account types, including multicurrency and conversion.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports to the company accountants.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts and maintain accurate records.
- Account Maintenance: Process adjustments and account maintenance as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Cash Handling: Knowledge of handling cash, cheques, credit cards, and EFTPOS, as well as cash allocation, daily balancing, and currency conversion.
- Time Management: Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Multitasking: Flexibility and ability to multitask and prioritize duties.
- Software Skills: Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Access.
- Communication: Ability to deal with a broad range of customers and demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills.
