Project Engineer - Senior

We are seeking a skilled Senior Project Engineer to contribute to the successful delivery of large-scale multi-residential developments in Canberra. This role offers the opportunity to be directly involved in shaping some of the city's most exciting projects, taking ownership of critical packages within landmark developments.

The ideal candidate will manage various stages of project delivery, establishing and maintaining procedures for cost control, procurement, design resolution, and coordination of trades across our developments.

  • Manage project delivery stages, including cost control, procurement, and design resolution.
  • Work with the Project Manager to manage trade packages, attend site meetings, and complete tenders from design resolution to award.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance, review scope, program, and budget, and report periodically on progressive performance.
  • Support the Project Manager and other employees on the project in undertaking their responsibilities and highlighting any issues that would have significant implications on time, cost, and safety.

Tertiary qualification in Building and Construction (or similar) is required, along with 5-7 years' experience in a comparable role within the construction industry.
