The Role

This role is pivotal in selling innovative solutions to top-tier banks. Key responsibilities include developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives, prospecting, and navigating complex sales cycles (typically spanning 6-12 months) to achieve successful closures.

Requirements
  • A proven track record of successfully navigating complex banking industry sales cycles from inception to completion within prominent financial institutions.
  • Proven ability to leverage internal resources effectively, fostering cross-functional collaboration with the Customer Success team and external stakeholders across customer and partner ecosystems.
  • Exceptional presentation skills, with experience delivering engaging in-person presentations to senior LOB & IT audiences, highlighting expertise in client discovery, ROI communication, and business value creation.
  • Established relationships and engagement at the C-level within prominent financial institutions.
  • Ability to align customer goals and KPIs with the Appian value proposition, thereby accelerating customer objectives.

As a trusted advisor, you will be instrumental in leveraging multiple stakeholders throughout complex deals, staying abreast of industry trends to position against competitors, and operating with urgency, diligence, and determination within a collaborative environment.
