As a seasoned professional in the banking industry, you will be responsible for driving sales growth through strategic partnerships and exceptional customer experiences.
About the RoleThe Account Executive role requires a unique blend of sales acumen, technical expertise, and business acumen to navigate complex sales cycles from start to finish.
You will be responsible for developing and executing top of funnel marketing strategies, prospecting, and effectively managing complex sales cycles (approximately 6-12 months) to a successful close.
- Experience navigating complex banking industry sales cycles from start to finish, with a proven track record of success in big 5 banks.
- Able to leverage internal resources within the larger sales organization, work cross-functionally with the Customer Success team and externally across customer and partner ecosystems.
- Strong presentation skills for delivering presentations to senior LOB & IT audiences, highlighting ability to perform client discovery, communicate ROI and build business value.
- Experience building relationships and engaging at the C-level within the big 5 banks.
- Able to align customer goals and KPIs to the Appian value proposition, helping customers accelerate their objectives.
- To be a trusted advisor to both customers and colleagues, leveraging multiple stakeholders throughout complex deals.
- To understand industry trends and position against competitors.
- To operate with urgency, diligence and determination within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Requirements- 10 -15+ years of direct selling experience and a minimum of 5 years banking experience as an Enterprise Account Executive, selling complex technologies to LOB and IT at the enterprise level to customers in the banking industry (Big 5)

- A strong industry network within the customer and partner base
- Strong job tenure: history of displaying loyalty and perseverance through long, stable job tenure and positive career trajectory
